Foundation and Administration
Carlisle Adventist College is a member of the education system of the Seventh-day Adventist church, the largest Protestant education system in the world. Carlisle is operated by Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd, an incorporated company run by the Seventh-day Adventist church in Northern Australia.
Our School exists to serve the Mackay community and is open to students regardless of their religious affiliation, ethnic background, gender or national origin. Carlisle, as an Adventist school, adheres to the teachings of the entire Bible, which is upheld as a rule of faith and practice. Students are expected to live in harmony with Carlisle’s standards and policies, showing respect for the Word of God and participating in the activities promoted by the school and its staff.

School Advisory Council (SAC)
The School Advisory Council is the principal governing body of the College. It is comprised of the School Principal and representatives of the head office of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Northern Australia and the Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Mackay area.
The current Executive Officers of the School Advisory Council are:-
